London Jewellery Week kicks off today

London Jewellery week runs from today Monday 7 – 13 June 2010 in destinations all over London. The biggest names and hot, new talent will be opening their doors to celebrate the capital’s position as a global jewellery destination. Visitors can sign-up for exclusive jewellery offers, discounts and prize draws by using the Select Card (available from the website). As a taste of what to expect, here are some of the best places to shop during the week:


A 3-day central exhibition during London Jewellery Week, featuring over 80 of the country’s most exciting contemporary jewellery designers.

Goldsmiths’ Company salon privé

Fashion show and selling event with a catwalk show featuring collections from top designers David Marshall, Dower & Hall and London couturier Ulrich Engler.

OXO Tower – Wedding List by Design

OXO Jewellers celebrate the launch of “Wedding List by Design” with three exhibitions launching their unique 2010 wedding collections.

OXO Tower Wharf / Mon 7 – 14 June /

A one-day street festival in this traditional diamond and jewellery quarter right in the heart of central London. Designers and retailers will be opening their studios and shops with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.

Hatton Garden / Sat 11 June /

Cockpit Arts – FREE Summer Open Studios featuring distinctive and exquisitely made fashion accessories, jewellery and more from over 165 designer-makers.
