November 12 sees the release of a book about Kenzo, published by Rizzoli. Presenting 40 years of design from the Paris-based fashion house, the title features the Artistic Director Antonio Marras in conversation with Bartabas, a renowned equestrian and performer, and curator and author Catherine Ormen. It also includes original texts contributed by a range of art and fashion writers, as well as prints and textiles Kenzo is known for. Priced at £48, the 304-page book, produced with three different fabric covers, features pop-up pages as well as 300 colour illustrations. The anniversary and publication are celebrated at V&A’s Fashion in Motion event on November 12. It includes a fashion show, open to the public, featuring 40 archive looks pulled together by Marras.
